honestly i agree about the 37 year old guy-she should run as far away from him as she can. but the 17 and 20something doesnt seem like as much of a problem? why should she tell her parents? im 18 with a 25 year old bf and my parents are cool with it

stoned-levi-deactivated20150901:

17 is an interesting age because while some people who are 17 have been exposed to the horrors of adult life and suffering early on, others are still naive. Plenty of 17 year olds might as well be 14 based upon how they act and how they can handle certain situations while other 17 year olds are just waiting to be 25 so they can finally feel that their personality can match their age. It’s a socialization issue, and the best way to avoid it is to just not fuck with it. If a 25 year old goes for a 17 year old, that means a grown-ass adult who’s old enough to have completed four years of college has now returned to a high school to find sex, rather than seeking other adults. Sometimes there’s a reason why a persons own age group has exiled them. The reason is usually immature or abusive behavior. There’s too many adults who try to date children because they know that a child will be naive enough to put up with their shit. This might not be your case scenario, but it’s a very traumatic, ongoing problem, and the solution is to not condone age gap unless the circumstances are super super special and perfect.
