you can preach about slut-shaming all you want, but you can’t deny there’s something very wrong with 13 and 14-year old girls going out in skirts and dresses so short they barely cover their asses and shirts with necklines so low they show off cleave they haven’t got yet, drinking and even smoking and hooking up with guys before they even have a substantial knowledge of how sex and sexual relationships work.

There’s something very wrong with people shaming young girls (children) for doing exactly what they are told to do by the media etc. every day of their life, instead of questioning why they are doing it. Girls are conditioned to believe that their sole worth is based on their looks, and on how they are being perceived by men, and you are here blaming them for trying to live up to society’s expectations instead of grabbing the problem by its roots. You are shaming those girls for “hooking up”, but you are not asking yourself, “who the hell is hooking up with girls this young?”; thereby demonizing them, and freeing the (oftentimes older) guys they are socializing with from any critique. You’re also not asking yourself who is providing these underage girls, who obviously cannot buy any drugs themselves, with alcohol and cigarettes. And from my experience, it’s always older men who are preying on those girls and taking advantage of their naivety. And they are often also the reason why the girls are trying to act “all grown up”, because they want to impress said men. And last but not least, if you sexualize 13-year-old girls, then there’s something very wrong with you, not with them.
But I mean, I get it, blaming children is much easier than actually using your brain and not being a pissface.
